Who Is FTMO Futures?
FTMO Futures is the futures trading program of FTMO, the Prague-based prop firm led by CEO Otakar Šuffner that has operated since 2015. FTMO launched it on September 17, 2026. Traders pay a monthly subscription for a simulated Evaluation account with live CME market data, reach a profit target within the drawdown rules, and then receive a Sim-Funded Account that pays a share of the simulated profit. FTMO’s Trading Department can invite the best Sim-Funded traders to a Live Funded Account.
There are two plans, Growth and Pro, each in $50K, $100K and $150K sizes. Both share the same profit targets, a single Evaluation phase, an end-of-day trailing drawdown and a 90/10 payout ratio. Growth is cheaper and has no daily loss limit in the Evaluation, but you can withdraw at most half of your profit per request. Pro costs more and adds a hard daily loss limit, in exchange for more drawdown room, higher payout caps and full withdrawals. All positions must be closed by 4:10 p.m. ET each trading day.
Programs Offered: Side-by-Side Comparison
FTMO Futures sells two plans. Both use the same single-phase Evaluation and the same profit targets; they differ in drawdown, daily loss rules, payouts and price.

RAMESCO30 applies once, to a new purchase; FTMO’s terms do not say that later renewals are discounted. The subscription renews every month until you pass, cancel, or a payment fails. If you breach the Evaluation, the subscription continues and you get a new account on the next billing date, or you can pay the reset fee to restart straight away. Max contracts are for the Evaluation: one standard or mini contract counts as ten micros.

Frequently Asked Questions About FTMO Futures
The 12 questions below are answered from FTMO’s FTMO Futures pages and FAQ.
What is FTMO Futures?
FTMO Futures is the futures trading program of FTMO, the Prague-based prop firm founded in 2015. It launched on September 17, 2026 and offers two single-phase Evaluations, Growth and Pro, on CME Group futures in $50K, $100K and $150K sizes.
How much does FTMO Futures cost?
It is a monthly subscription. Growth costs $119, $169 or $229 per month and Pro $139, $199 or $269 per month for the $50K, $100K and $150K sizes. There is no activation fee, and the subscription stops when you pass.
Is there an FTMO Futures discount code?
Yes, during the current official FTMO promotion: code RAMESCO30 takes 30% off a new Growth or Pro $50K plan ($83.30 or $97.30 instead of $119 or $139), once per client, valid through mid-November 2026. It goes in the Discount field at checkout and does not apply to the $100K and $150K plans or to FTMO’s CFD challenges. FTMO has no permanent discounts: outside an official campaign the standard prices apply.
What is the difference between Growth and Pro?
Growth is cheaper, has no daily loss limit in the Evaluation and a soft one when funded, and lets you withdraw up to 50% of profit per request. Pro costs more, has a hard daily loss limit in both phases, more drawdown room, higher payout caps and 100% withdrawals.
What is the profit split at FTMO Futures?
Both plans pay a 90/10 payout ratio: you keep 90% of the amount you withdraw. On Growth each request can include up to 50% of your profit; on Pro up to 100%.
How do FTMO Futures payouts work?
Growth accounts can request a payout every 4 days after 4 qualifying days, and Pro every 5 days after 5 qualifying days, each with a minimum daily profit by size. Caps per request run from $2,500 to $4,000 on Growth and $5,000 to $8,000 on Pro. The minimum payout is $20.
What drawdown does FTMO Futures use?
An end-of-day trailing maximum drawdown: $2,000, $3,500 or $5,000 on Growth and $3,000, $4,500 or $6,000 on Pro. It is recalculated each day from the highest closing balance and locks permanently once it reaches the starting balance.
Is there a consistency rule at FTMO Futures?
Only in the Evaluation. Your best day may be at most 40% of total profit on Growth or 50% on Pro. Going over it is not a breach; you keep trading until the share falls. There is no consistency rule on Sim-Funded accounts.
Can I trade news, use EAs or hold overnight at FTMO Futures?
News trading is allowed in every phase and automated trading is allowed, except high-frequency and latency-arbitrage strategies. Holding positions overnight or over the weekend is not allowed: everything must be closed by 4:10 p.m. ET.
Which platforms and markets does FTMO Futures offer?
NinjaTrader, Tradovate and TradingView, all with one login. You can trade 30 CME Group contracts (19 standard or mini, 11 micro) across equity indices, metals, energy, FX and crypto, with commissions of $0.50 per side on minis and $0.20 on micros plus exchange and NFA fees.
Can US traders join FTMO Futures?
Yes. US residents are accepted, except in Arkansas, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana and South Carolina, and are served through JV Prop Corporation. To receive a payout they need a US tax ID, an IRS Form W-9 and a US bank account at a licensed bank.
Do I keep paying after I pass the FTMO Futures Evaluation?
No. Once the Evaluation is marked as passed, the subscription is cancelled and you are not charged for the Sim-Funded or Live Funded account.
Propfirmito’s Verdict on FTMO Futures
Propfirmito rating: 86.6/100 · A. FTMO Futures inherits FTMO’s strongest asset, a long payout record and a large, well-rated customer base, and adds low monthly fees, a 90/10 payout ratio and an end-of-day trailing drawdown that locks at the starting balance. It loses points for the subscription billing, the ban on overnight and weekend positions, and the 50% withdrawal limit on Growth.
Six-pillar breakdown (0–100): Trust & Legitimacy 100 · Cost 51.4 · Conditions 91.6 · Passability 95.7 · Payouts 100 · Access 54.1 — see the full score report. The score is based on the Growth plan, FTMO Futures’ lower-priced plan.
- Payout Reliability : FTMO has published payouts of more than $650M since 2015; FTMO Futures itself launched in September 2026, so its own futures payout record is still short.
- Challenge Cost-Effectiveness : $119 per month for the $50K Growth ($83.30 with code RAMESCO30 through mid-November 2026) is among the lower entry prices we track, and you stop paying once you pass; the fee recurs every month you have not passed, and a reset costs $109 to $259.
- Rules & Flexibility : news trading, automated trading and an EOD drawdown are positives; every position must be flat by 4:10 p.m. ET, and the Evaluation carries a 40% (Growth) or 50% (Pro) consistency rule.
- Support Quality : 24/7 live chat, WhatsApp, phone and email, plus FTMO’s Discord and education resources.
Best For
- Futures day traders who want FTMO’s track record behind their account
- Traders who trade the news or use automated strategies
- Traders who want a low monthly entry and no fee after passing
- US traders outside the five excluded states
- Traders who prefer an end-of-day drawdown that locks at the starting balance
Not Ideal For
- Swing traders who hold positions overnight or over the weekend
- Traders who want a one-time fee instead of a subscription
- Traders who want to withdraw all profit on the cheaper plan (Growth caps each request at 50%)
- Traders who dislike consistency rules in the Evaluation
- Residents of Australia, China, Indonesia, Ukraine and the other restricted countries
