Financial Risk Disclosure

Trading foreign exchange, futures, indices, commodities, and other financial instruments through proprietary trading firm (prop firm) challenges carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Before engaging with any prop firm listed on Propfirmito, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, risk appetite, and financial situation. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek independent advice if you have any doubts.

Challenge Fees Are Non-Refundable After Trading Begins

Most proprietary trading firms sell evaluation challenges as a one-time service fee. Once you begin trading on an evaluation or direct-funded account, the challenge fee is generally non-refundable, even if you fail the evaluation. Policies vary by firm — always read each prop firm’s refund and chargeback policy before purchase. Initiating a chargeback on a successfully delivered challenge may result in permanent account termination at most firms.

Simulated vs. Live Capital

The vast majority of prop firm challenges are traded on simulated accounts, not live broker accounts. Profits shown in the dashboard during an evaluation phase, and often during the funded phase, are simulated and only become real money at the moment of a payout request (subject to the firm’s payout schedule and rules). Some firms operate true live accounts (e.g., LucidLive by Lucid Trading) — these are invitation-only and operate under different terms.

Past Performance Is Not Indicative of Future Results

Any references on Propfirmito to past performance of a trader, a strategy, or a prop firm do not guarantee future performance. Trading results depend on individual skill, risk management, market conditions, and firm-specific rules. Propfirmito makes no representation that you will achieve similar results to those reported in reviews or case studies.

Rules Change — Verify Before Purchasing

Prop firm rules (drawdown limits, payout rules, consistency rules, maximum account sizes, restricted countries, prohibited strategies) can change at any time. While Propfirmito verifies discount codes and firm data via live checkout tests, the definitive source of truth is always the firm’s own terms of use. You are responsible for reading and understanding the full terms of any prop firm before paying for a challenge.

Not a Broker, Not Regulated as One

Propfirmito is an independent prop-firm review and ranking publisher. We are not a broker, not a financial advisor, and not regulated as a financial institution. We do not manage client funds, do not execute trades on your behalf, and do not provide personalized financial advice. Most proprietary trading firms also operate outside of traditional broker regulation because traders do not deposit funds into live market accounts during simulated evaluations — they pay a one-time challenge fee.

Geographic Restrictions

Many prop firms restrict traders from certain countries due to OFAC sanctions, local financial regulations, or anti-money-laundering compliance. Review the restricted countries list on each firm’s official terms page before purchasing. Propfirmito cannot override geographic restrictions imposed by a firm.

Consult a Licensed Professional
